No Paws Left Behind -Real Estate 101

I am not going to kid you, locating a home to rent that allows pets can be challenging since it seems like most landlords have received the "NO PETS ALLOWED" memo.  Usually this concern stems from one bad incident.

Here are few suggestions that will connect your landlord to their pet-loving side while convincing them that allowing pets translates into a smart business decision:

* Offer to pay an additional deposit, which may be refundable upon move-out.

* Send a picture of your pet along with the application and include helpful information to show that you are a responsible pet owner.

* Schedule a meeting with you, landlord, and pet.

* Contact a Realtor,  we have extensive experience negotiating pet-friendly lease agreements for our clients.

There are many landlords who will understand that you are a proud parent of a happy feet with paws!
